Adairsville, Ga.—The Alan Greenberg Memorial Golf & Pickleball Tournament raised $142,000 for the Floor Covering Industry Foundation and flooring families in need.
CCA Global Partners hosted the Sept. 16 event at Barnsley Resort here. The tournament brought flooring industry members together for golf, pickleball and fundraising.
The support comes as FCIF faces growing demand for financial assistance. The foundation awarded its entire 2026 grant budget by the end of August.
FCIF provides financial assistance to flooring families facing catastrophic illnesses, severe injuries and disabilities. The foundation thanked CCA Global Partners and its volunteers for supporting the event.
FCIF sees growing demand
Ahead of the tournament, the FCIF board of directors met at Barnsley Resort to review the foundation’s year-to-date performance.
The board also discussed the continued increase in requests for financial assistance. With its 2026 grant budget fully awarded, FCIF said it will use reserve funds to continue supporting qualified flooring families with immediate needs.
FCIF grants help cover essential expenses such as housing, utilities, food, transportation and medical needs. The foundation said continued industry support will help it assist more families facing life-changing circumstances.
Tournament recognizes top teams
The tournament’s awards dinner recognized the top golf teams and pickleball competitor.
The first-place golf team included Jamie Kim, Bart Hill and Jeff Meadows of Mohawk Industries and Charlie Dilks of CCA Global Partners.
Erik Kempf and Carl Olson of Leggett & Platt Flooring joined Mike Nance and Nash Nance of Nance Floors on the second-place team.
The third-place team included Steve Sieracki of CCA Global Partners, Trey Thames and Will Young of Engineered Floors and Julius Shaw.
Lorenzo Guerrero of Shaw Industries won the pickleball competition.
Those who did not attend the tournament can still contribute to FCIF. The foundation continues to accept donations to support flooring families in need.
