SADDLE BROOK, N.J.—Nourison appointed David John Appelt to the position of regional sales manager for the Southeast territory, covering North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Texas.

“We are thrilled to acquire a proven professional of David’s caliber to join our team.  He is knowledgeable, energetic, and highly respected throughout our industry,” said Gerard O’Keefe, Nourison’s vice president of sales. “We are confident his addition will have a strong, positive impact, not only on his assigned region, but on our company as a whole.”

Appelt will be responsible for managing and developing business, and supervising a team of in-house account executives throughout the Southeast territories. He will promote Nourison’s rug line that includes over 60 active collections, as well as Nourison’s broadloom and runner lines, which include thousands of SKUs. He will also handle the newer, but growing Nourtex brand, which includes more moderately priced decorative broadloom and runners, as well as the Mina Victory line of decorative accessories.
