UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J.—Hunter Douglas announced that it is relocating its corporate headquarters to Blue Hill Plaza in Pearl River, N.Y., from its current location effective Oct. 10.  Located off Veteran’s Memorial Drive, Blue Hill Plaza is within easy commuting distance for most of the 110 employees who work at the company headquarters.

Hunter Douglas will occupy the top two floors of the 21-story Skidmore, Owings & Merrill complex.  The Hunter Douglas offices, near the Hudson River, provide sweeping views in all directions.  The plaza complex offers a host of amenities including childcare, a fitness center, banking and post office facilities as well as state-of-the-art fiber optics.

The new headquarters, designed by the leading interiors firm of Gensler and appointed with Hunter Douglas’ innovative custom window coverings and architectural products, is well suited to the company, which is widely regarded as the trendsetter in high style at the window.

“We’re pleased to be relocating to Blue Hill Plaza,” said Marv Hopkins, Hunter Douglas president and CEO.  “The new offices provide a superior environment for our employees and customers and afford us room for growth while effectively showcasing our products and business.  The Plaza’s pastoral setting yet close proximity to Manhattan and many tri-state towns and cities make it an ideal location for us.  We look forward to being part of the Pearl River and Rockland County communities.”

The company’s new address will be:  1 Blue Hill Plaza, Pearl River, NY 10965; (tel.) 845-664-7000.
