Shanghai — The Shanghai-based flooring producer Chinafloors Timber Co. has announced the launch of its brand-new program of luxury vinyl planks. The collection will be marketed under the Lamett brand and features 21 decors that will be available both in a dry back as well as in a click version for floating installation. The 21 SKUs will be warehoused in China for immediate shipment, thus avoiding long production lead times. The program will be launched officially in January at Domotex 2012 in Hannover and Surfaces 2012 in Las Vegas.

“We are very proud to bring this new luxury vinyl collection to market. Just as our wood and laminate, our vinyl products are unique both in terms of design and finish. It will allow our customers to go to market with an exclusive line that is different to what is out there, and to sell value based on quality and differentiation. And our customers like the idea of being able to consolidate their purchasing with one manufacturer,” said Thomas Baert, president of Chinafloors.
