LAS VEGAS—Patti Fasan, founder of Professional Attention to Tile Installation (P.A.T.T.I.) was honored with the National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) Joe Tarver Cornerstone Award during a special ceremony at the recent Coverings show here.

Fasan, a skilled communicator and educator who delivers entertaining, informative, passionate presentations to all segments of the industry, has lectured in Europe, U.S., Australia and Canada, and is the first woman to receive the honor.

“It has been a true pleasure to watch Patti grow into the influential force that she is today,” said Joe Tarver, executive director emeritus of NTCA, for whom the award is named. “It is my opinion that Patti, over the course of her marvelous career, has become the spokesperson for the tile industry, especially in the architectural and design community. She is a great friend, and I admire her for her passion, knowledge and enthusiasm. I am honored to have her become the first woman to receive this award in my name.”

Fasan’s training/consulting firm specializes in all facets of ceramic tile and stone.
