DALTON – Beaulieu of America, the third largest carpet producer in the nation, kicked-off 2013 with regional markets in Dallas and Atlanta. The Atlanta Winter Market was held at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Marietta, Ga., on Jan. 8 and 9 and the Dallas Winter Market was held at the Great Wolf Lodge Hotel and Conference Center in Grapevine, Texas on Jan. 10 and 11. Both events were well attended according to company officials and featured new 2013 product introductions such as Bliss Indulgence, as well as sample specials and roll goods.
“Overall customer sentiment was very positive and upbeat. Many of our dealers experienced increased sales in 2012 and are forecasting an even stronger 2013,” reported Dallas Chapman, vice president, Southeast division, regarding the Atlanta event.
“Customers loved the products in the new Indulgence collection,” Richard Abramowicz, vice president, central division, observed at the Dallas show. “We placed a number of Bliss Indulgence displays. Traffic was better than last year. Bad thunderstorms threatened attendance but it couldn’t keep our customers from coming out to show their support for Beaulieu.”
The next stop for Beaulieu was at Surfaces in Las Vegas, and additional shows are coming Feb. 19 and 20 in Minneapolis and Edison, N.J. Dealers are urged to consult their Beaulieu representatives for details.
