New York — PID Floors announced the opening of its newest showroom in Greenwich, Conn. The location is on West Putnam Avenue, a half block from historic Greenwich Avenue.

The move is part of PID Floors’ long-term expansion plan. “Our unique selection of products is perfect for the Greenwich market, along with the rest of southern Connecticut,” said Steve Skutelsky, managing director. “The all natural, handmade finishes we custom make on our prefinished floors provide clients with the look and feel of naturally aged hardwoods, something the affluent population in Greenwich won’t want to miss.”

PID Floors of Greenwich is displaying a fully custom collection of solid and engineered plank wood floors, as well as parquet. The custom finishes and colors are developed in house, using centuries-old woodworking techniques handed down from generation to generation. Clients have the option of choosing a prefinished floor, or developing a brand-new look with the PID Floors design team.
