Dalton—AVA, a Novalis brand, has joined Material Bank in an effort to offer a seamless ordering process for samples. All AVA SKUs are now available through Material Bank, including the most recent styles from the June launch of several new collections.
“AVA has been impressed with Material Bank’s service and attention to detail,” said Jeremy Whipple, vice president of business development, Novalis. “We understand that Material Bank brings much needed simplicity to the specification and sample ordering process, and we are pleased to support designers through its quick online search process and fast, eco-friendly delivery.”
Material Bank aims to simplify the ordering process and reduce waste while increasing the quality of service provided. It is an architectural and design materials resource and is a free service for industry professionals. Users can perform searches and explore new products across many brands and materials. The filter on searches can be done by finish, design, color, performance and technical attributes. The new Material Desk feature allows designers to create palettes, easily upload images to the palette for a mood board and also save and share to clients or team members.
Orders are fulfilled through Material Bank’s 80,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, robotics-powered logistics facility, located near the FedEx Express World Hub in Memphis, Tenn. Orders placed before midnight EST are delivered in a single box containing the full sample order by 10:30 a.m. the next day.
In addition to a sustainable solution to sampling, Material Bank also includes a reclamation program that allows samples to be returned for reuse at no cost to the designer.
