ChattavegasChattanooga, Tenn.—Happy Feet International, a producer of luxury vinyl plank and tile headquartered here, is hosting its second annual Vegas-themed expo. The company said it took a gamble by initiating the event in response to the COVID-19 pandemic when it was unable to travel to the Las Vegas trade shows. CEO Casey Johnson’s son, CJ, coined the name “Chattavegas” for the inaugural event, according to the company.

“During the pandemic, many of the top flooring expos in Las Vegas, which are crucial to how our industry does business, were postponed,” Johnson said. “We came up with the idea to bring old-time Vegas to Chattanooga and it ended up being a win for our business.”

Last year, more than 200 guests from all over the U.S. attended Chattavegas and Happy Feet said it is expecting an even bigger turnout with this year’s event being expanded to two days. Chattavegas 2.0 is hosted at the Happy Feet International headquarters.

The main event will be held on Thursday, June 16, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. CST. The company said it will include casino games such as craps, poker and slot machines as well as a range of prizes, a seated lunch and dinner with an open bar. In addition, there will be exclusive deals only available at Chattavegas 2.0, according to the company. The showroom will give a first peek at Happy Feet’s newest products within the Black Label Collection, Made in the USA Collection, new trims and more according to the company.

The second day, Friday, June 17, is an exclusive experience featuring a round of golf or a spa treatment. According to the company, customers who pre-purchase five or more pallets of Pinnacle, Happy Feet’s latest premium luxury vinyl flooring, are eligible to attend the second day.

Happy Feet is partnering with The Westin Chattanooga, the host hotel for Chattavegas 2.0 accommodations. Current and new customers are eligible to register for the event and new customers must sign up for an account to attend.
