fall meetingsAtlanta—The Resilient Floor Covering Institute (RFCI) held its fall in-person meetings for two of its key committees here last week. According to RFCI, the Technical Advisory Committee covered important topics, including ASTM updates, ecomedes database updates, industry-wide EPDs and the new AFFIRM certification, and the Marketing Committee meeting reviewed current marketing initiatives and discussed future plans.

Stanley Mathuram, executive vice president, SCS Global Services, was the guest speaker at both annual fall meetings. He manages 110 certificate programs, including FloorScore and Assure Certified both RFCI programs. Mathuram said he briefed both committees on the increasing consumer preference for sustainable products.

“We were pleased that so many leaders in technical and marketing roles in RFCI member companies invested their time in these key meetings,” said Bill Blackstock, president and CEO, RFCI. “The level of enthusiasm and engagement was fantastic across the board!”
