Calhoun, Ga.— Surya, a progressive manufacturer of area rugs and home accessories, announces its first ever Designer’s Choice sweepstakes on the Company’s official Facebook page, www.facebook.com/suryasocial. Surya is tapping into the creative energy of its 30,000+ fans to select a new design for a Surya rug. The sweepstakes is yet another step that this progressive company has taken to engage its customers in the product development process.

Fans will be able to vote on their favorite design from ten pre-production sketches on the Surya fan page through March 8. The winning design will go into production for mass consumption. All participants will have a chance to win prizes:

Grand Prize: A designer rug from Surya with Approximate Retail Value up to $999.

First Prize: A $250 American Express Gift Card.

Second Prize: $100 American Express Gift Card.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for our fans to participate in our design process. All our designs have life and energy to them, but with our fans speaking, this adds a whole new dimension to our products,” said Satya Tiwari, President of Surya. “Each idea is carefully handcrafted through skilled artisans to create a work of art.”

Surya has taken a very customer-centric approach to product development and delivery. The Company’s Research & Development team works closely with customers to test thousands of new designs before introducing products to market. The Sweepstakes provides consumers, retailers, interior designers, and industry participants an inventive forum to discuss product needs and style notes.

Surya will be showcasing 24 new collections during the Las Vegas Market (Showroom WMC B370) from January 30 to February 3, where market participants will be able to cast their votes while viewing Surya’s extensive of array of products.
