Davis was an integral part of the floor covering industry for 18 years as the president and CEO of the World Covering Association. He was the biggest advocate for the advancement of floor covering retailers through education and their protection through legislative efforts. He also took Surfaces to the next level, eventually selling the show for $40 million and endowing the WFCA’s future.
