HomeCorkQEP launches HarrisCork collection

Boca Raton, Fla. – Q.E.P. proudly introduces a new extension to its continuously growing line of Harris Wood engineered wood flooring. With its commitment to green living it only seemed fit to enhance the brand with the addition of Harris Cork, a renewable, sustainable and environmentally friendly resource.

The new Harris Cork offering will consist of four separate collections designed to fit the tastes and needs of the majority of consumers. Three of these collections fall within the Premium designation with the other being a true Value offering for the cost conscious that still demands a floor that meets their environmental standards. With a grand total of 12 different selections the Harris Cork line provides enough choices without the overabundance that leads to confusion. Keeping it simple, keeping it green; meeting the demands of the consumers.

All of the selections include the CorkLoc glueless install system for ease of installation by homeowners and professionals alike. Also included on all products is the integrated insulating   cork underlayment backing which eliminates the need for additional sound reducing underlayments. This however does not protect from moisture and a moisture barrier underlayment may be necessary for some installations.

The collections are esthetically-designed with distinct differences that are easily discernible. Each of the Premium Collections are offered in extra long planks that measure 48” long with an attractive 5-1/2” width. The Premium collections also include an enhanced CorkLoc Fold Down Install System, an enhanced Ceramic micro-bead finish that provides an enhanced wear finish along with a 25 year residential finish warranty. The three Premium collections are The Santa Cruz Collection which incorporates strong linear patterns, The Sierra Collection which more closely mimics the look of a traditional solid wood floor and The Sonoma Collection which boasts a more organic structure designed to complement the décor in any contemporary or traditional setting.

The Value collection, The Napa Collection, is offered in 36” long panels with varying extra wide widths up to 11-13/16”. A traditional urethane finish tops The Napa Collection and also boasts a 15 year residential finish warranty.

“This all new HarrisCork Collection is resilient, durable and meets the demands of our world today from an environmental standpoint. Choosing to participate in protecting and prolonging our environment by offering products such as these is an important message that we are anxious to share with our partners,” said Jamie Clingan, Sr. VP Marketing.
