City of Industry, Calif. –- Bentley Prince Street, an industry leader in color and design, is proud to announce its new VP of Product Design, Todd van der Kruik. Van der Kruik is a former senior designer for Bentley Prince Street who has gone on to build a reputation as an artist and innovator in flooring and textile design. Bentley Prince Street is known for award-winning design and quality, and this move positions the company to be more competitive in all areas of commercial interiors.

Under van der Kruik’s leadership, the design team will focus on value through cutting-edge design and sustainability and on making a statement in the environment the company has been trusted to enhance for over three decades.  Customers can expect the same commitment to value through quality, style and design, with a renewed focus that pushes the limits of high performance, beauty and value.

“This is such an exciting time for our company and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have Todd leading us into the future,” said Anthony Minite, president and CEO.  “He has assembled a team that truly understands color, pattern design and trends and he’s not afraid to push the capabilities of technology, equipment, suppliers, and peers.”

As an artist and innovator, van der Kruik is constantly searching and pursuing knowledge in various mediums. As vice president of Product Design, he brings extensive experience and a fresh perspective, which allows him to connect across a variety of demographics.

“I’m extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with Bentley Prince Street at such an exciting time in history. This company has a unique place in the industry, a true legacy of design and quality,” said van der Kruik.  “My challenge (and opportunity) will be paying homage to that heritage in a way that is both respectful to the brand, and exciting to our customers. I couldn’t ask for a more compelling design opportunity than to explore ‘vintage’ Bentley while redefining its classic sleek aesthetic for a new era.”

As a former senior designer at Bentley Prince Street, van der Kruik has a deep sense of pride for the company’s rich history.  Some of the company’s most popular running lines may be attributed to van der Kruik including New Gotham and Suburban Fringe.

All products manufactured by Bentley Prince Street are certified to the NSF-140 Sustainability Assessment for Carpet at the Platinum level when installed with High PerformancePC backing and at the Gold level when installed with NexStep Cushion Tile backing.  Bentley Prince Street manufactures in a LEED-EB for Existing Buildings Silver certified facility and is a multi-year recipient of the GSA Evergreen Award.
