Marietta, Ga. – Mohawk is committed to providing its customers with best-in-class innovation, products and leadership.  The company’s drive to continue that legacy has resulted in the promotion of industry veteran Jeff Meadows to senior vice president, residential sales.

Meadows, who joined the company in 2012, after almost three decades of exceptional sales leadership, has proven invaluable to the organization by helping expand Mohawk’s home center and independent aligned retail businesses. In his new role, Meadows will be responsible for driving residential sales execution and customer relationships through the momentum of revolutionary products such as SmartStrand Silk and Wear-Dated Embrace.

“Jeff has a proven track record of building great relationships and driving success for our business,” said Tom Lape, president of Mohawk residential and commercial. “In a short time, Jeff has made an impact here at Mohawk and we are thrilled to expand his role.  The 30 years of residential relationships he brings to this new leadership role will further support our company efforts of building, marketing and distributing world-class products for all of our retail partners.  I couldn’t be more excited about the future with the team Jeff will be leading here at Mohawk.”

Before joining Mohawk, Meadows held several key management positions in the residential business segment, including chief sales and marketing officer for Beaulieu. In addition to sales and marketing, he also led their R&D, customer service, distribution services and transportation. Prior to his tenure at Beaulieu, Meadows spent 22 years at Shaw Industries, rising through the ranks and serving in a variety of senior sales roles in their residential and rugs & textiles businesses.
