Commack, N.Y. — CBC Flooring and Spartan Surfaces have grown together through a strong and loyal partnership forged six years ago.  Now, Spartan Surfaces is CBC’s largest agent and distributor, representing the company’s brands in some of its largest markets, including New York and Chicago.  Spartan Surfaces currently represents the company’s brands in the East Coast market covering the area from Philadelphia to Washington D.C.

“Spartan is an industry leader and they’ve supported us every step of the way,” said Chip Braulick, director of flooring for CBC. Their sales force knows our products from a design perspective and understands them on the technical side as well. We are delighted to be expanding their role within the CBC Flooring family.

“Spartan has pioneered a really different way of taking their products to market by building strong relationships in the architect and design community,” he added. “If all goes as expected, we will double our business in the Chicago and New York markets in the next 24-36 months.”

Spartan Surfaces owner, Kevin Jablon, has strong ties to CBC, having worked as a regional manager for the company before leaving to start his own company in 2007.

“Everything we do is based on supporting and serving the design community,” said Jablon. “New York and Chicago are markets we researched and wanted to explore.  The timing was perfect,” he said.

Jablon said CBC’s array of products provide his sales team an opportunity to cater to a multitude of markets.  From healthcare to education, corporate to multi-family, CBC offers a product to meet the demands of the application.

“We believe in their products and have had great success together,” Jablon noted.

CBC Flooring is focused on providing high quality and sustainable resilient flooring solutions to the commercial market and has averaged double-digit sales growth every year since 2009.

CBC has grown from offering two brands in 2009 to five today. The demand for Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) has been an important driver of its growth strategy. The company now sources products from countries all over the world, and it partners with the best manufacturers worldwide.
