Florim USA joins ‘We Build American’ program

Clarksville, Tenn.—At the beginning of this year, 84 Lumber Co. launched “We Build American,” a campaign focused on persuading builders, remodelers and homebuyers to use American-made materials when building or remodeling their homes. Since its initial launch, more than 180 companies selling American-made building products have joined the program, including the latest, Florim USA. The premise behind this is that the country’s builders should realize that homes built in the U.S. can be extremely cost-competitive when put together using domestically-produced building materials and supplies.

According to Stefano Rabaioli, vice president/sales & marketing of Florim USA, “Our company is proud to take part in this commendable initiative. In particular, because it encourages buying American-made building products to improve the economy and create jobs and opportunities in local communities across the country.”

For years, Florim USA has been committed to the green movement, especially in the development of ecologically sound tile materials. Its sustainable tile products are made with natural and recycled materials purchased from local landfills, which are then produced using today’s cutting-edge, energy-saving techniques.

This eco-compatible production process minimizes negative environmental impact while at the same time, allows Florim USA to provide world-class tile products containing up to 40% recycled content. And because Florim USA hires local Tennessee workers, the production of these products provides continual job opportunities for them.

“Those interested in knowing more about the ‘We Build American’ initiative,” added Rabaioli, should visit the program’s website at webuildamerican.com.
