Dallas—Mohawk Hard Surfaces has promoted Craig Cook to regaional vice president for the Southeast. “Our Mohawk Hard Surface sales team is made up of a nationwide network of some of the most knowledgeable and experienced sales professional in the flooring industry,” said Jamie Byrne, senior vice president of Mohawk Hard Surfaces. “Always endeavoring to make our strong team even stronger, we are pleased to announce the internal promotion of one of our current top performers into an executive leadership role.”

Cook brings over 20 years of experience in the flooring industry to his new role. For the past five years, he ahs played a key role in steering parts of the Mohawk Hard Surfaces/Unilin business to new levels of success and increased revenue. Cook’s experience also includes over a decade in key national leadership roles with Armstrong and time spent as GM for the residential builder group Hunter Douglas.

“Craig has a proven track record of leading teams so they excel at servicing their customers,” added Byrne.  “We are extremely confident that our retailers in the Southeast region will receive excellent service and support from Craig, helping them increase their revenue.”

Cook will be based out of Charlotte, North Carolina and will report to Byrne.
