Horsham, Pa.—SystemsNet, an IT firm that prides itself on its knowledge base and customer service capabilities, has rolled out Floors For Windows 10.0, a software upgrade that lets flooring dealers control inventory, handle purchase orders and calculate sales estimates along with multiple other functions.

SystemsNet has been serving the flooring industry since 1997 when it introduced Floors For Windows. In 2013, the software was completely rewritten due to the discontinuation of support for Microsoft Access 2003, which formed the core of the previous Floors For Windows version.

“Since 2013, there have been multiple updates and the software has developed into the core software package for many of our flooring partners,” said Joe Keesey III, president of SystemsNet. The company’s recent launch of version 10.0 is intended to streamline all aspects of a flooring dealer’s business.

“We have developed a product that all [RSAs] can easily learn to use,” said Keesey, who believes that most dealers could recoup their software investments in six months.

For support, SystemsNet has added several “live” help desk agents to answer questions and direct retailers to the information they need. In addition, technicians are available during business hours in case dealers encounter any IT issues.

Keesey said live demos as well as 30-day trials are available to allow flooring dealers to “test drive” the new system. “Whether you are upgrading from a previous version and transferring your data or starting from scratch, the Floors For Windows demo is worth the hour investment of your time.”

Floors For Windows version 10.0 is fully integrated and lets dealers control certain tasks and information such as estimates, job costs, receipts, inventory, purchase orders, scheduling, work orders and accounts receivable/payable history. In addition, users can stay connected and even work from home while still being able to access 24/7 help desk support.

“We maintain a staff of highly qualified network specialists, application developers, systems administrators and ACT! [software] Certified Consultants who have been trained on products from industry leaders,” Keesey said. “We can even assist in selecting and purchasing hardware or software. Our flexibility makes SystemsNet one of a kind in the support industry. In the end, we’re geeks. We get hardware, we get software, we get design, we get service—we flat out get IT. When you call us, you get an ear. When you meet us, you get a smile. And when you work with us, you get help—IT help.”
