Flooring America introduces Move or Improve Assurance

HomeNewsFlooring America introduces Move or Improve Assurance

DALLAS—Flooring America and Flooring Canada earlier this year took the wraps off a new program called The Move or Improve Assurance guarantee, a decidedly big deal for Flooring America dealers and its customers. Vinnie Virga, president, Flooring America, cited research that shows end users are worried about making big investments and the Move or Improve Assurance addresses that.

“If the consumer redoes her floors and decides three or four years later she’s ready for a change, or let’s say she moves to a new home, she can get credit of up to 50% of the original purchase,” he explained. “This guarantee lets her know she’s not making a mistake by choosing Flooring America. We’re doing a better job.”

Members were thrilled with the initiative, calling it one of the group’s most exciting introductions. “It’s a tool to differentiate ourselves, help us retain customers, close sales and keep customers that move out of our area in the [Flooring America] family,” said Ed Cross, Ed’s Flooring America, Plaistow, N.H. “It benefits us individually as a store, as a whole as a buying group and helps maintain trust with our customers.”

Further north in the Granite state, members were still singing the program’s praises. “I didn’t know what to expect at winter convention but I’m glad I went,” said Buddy Wiggins, LaValley Flooring America, West Lebanon, N.H. “The Move or Improve Assurance is a hassle-free change we can all make.”

To provide additional guidance to customers who are looking to move or improve, Flooring America and Flooring Canada are also introducing a series of podcasts with tips from realtors and experts with tips on making lasting investments in home renovations that provide a high return on investment. The podcasts can be viewed on Flooring America’s YouTube account.
