PaddingNew York, N.Y—LSI Flooring has taken over Daltonian Flooring’s padding division. Daltonian offered high density polyurethane carpet and rug padding products for two generations and closed its doors in December.

“This is the most advanced carpet cushion foundation available in the entire world,” said Larry Lane, president, LSI Flooring. “[It has been] developed after years of scientific research and manufactured with proprietary chemistry and technology.”

LSI Rug Pad, Ultra Plus II, LSI 101 and LSI 300 make up the initial product line. Ultra Plus II is for residential use, LSI 101 and 300 can be used residentially or for the heaviest commercial/hospitality applications and possibly used for conventional or double-stick installations, according to the company.

For a limited time, LSI said it is offering no charge samples and anyone can request a padding chain set at no charge by emailing the company. The company said it currently has 11 sales reps but is also searching for additional independent sales reps nationwide.

LSI Flooring said it generates millions of dollars for the principal companies they represent such as Nourison, Hagaman, a Nourison brand, Antrim, a Stanton brand, JMISH, Decorative Concepts, Greyne, among others. LSI has a corporate office in Manhattan, N.Y. with an additional sales office in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. LSI expanded nationally in 2021.
