Porta-Nails, Inc., originally founded in 1979 as Porta Tools, is a manufacturer and supplier of hardwood floor fastening tools, private label specialty tools and specialty nails and cleats for the hardwood flooring industry for markets worldwide under the Porta-Nailer, Hammerhead and Portamatic brands. It is known worldwide as the manufacturer of the internationally acclaimed Porta-Nailer wood flooring system.
“This acquisition is a natural add-on to our existing business,” said Jamie Clingan, senior vice president of sales and marketing. “It is a key component of our strategy to move towards a “full line supplier” to the flooring industry.”
