Johnsonite introduces new and expanded Azrock VCT line

HomeNewsJohnsonite introduces new and expanded Azrock VCT line

To further strengthen their wide range of product designs, Johnsonite, the commercial arm of Tarkett and provider of high-performance flooring systems, is introducing a range of new and improved solutions for innovative and sustainable flooring with their Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) and TexTile VCT collections. Ideal for high traffic areas, the new designs and expanded color options for this classic product increase design flexibility with a modern palette and competitive pricing.

The standard Azrock VCT line has undergone a complete re-coloring, adding 50 new colors in a new visual, while still keeping 23 of the most popular current colors, for a total of 73 skus of Standard VCT plus 4 Solid-Color VCT options.

In addition to these increased color options, the brand new TexTile VCT boasts a contemporary linear visual with the traditional value and durability of vinyl composition tile. Random patterning gives the look of striated yarns running directionally, and no two pieces are alike – allowing for a unique textile look. The trusted Azrock VCT construction together with this striated pattern marries years of durability and high performance with a striking pattern, designed to hide tracked in dirt and scuffs in high-traffic areas and provides high-end function and visual at a VCT price.

The TexTile VCT collection is available in two distinct sizes, including both 12”x12” squares and 12”x24” rectangles and 15 vibrant colors, for true modularity. By simply quarter turning the tiles or checker-boarding more than one color, this new format allows for a multitude of stunning flooring patterns, including checkerboard, plaid, herringbone, staggered and many other custom designs and possibilities.

This new subtle organic color palette is a result of industry-wide surveys that were done to assess color and pattern trends. To further extend design possibilities, all the new VCT colors and patterns now coordinate with the VET and SVT lines, as well as with other Johnsonite product lines, for ease of design across the entire Johnsonite portfolio. As a North American leader in sustainable flooring, Johnsonite considers all aspects of sustainability, including rapidly renewable materials, resource stewardship, recycling and people-friendly spaces. Due to the recyclability of VCT, which is made using natural and readily available limestone, this flooring can be reused in the production process. VCT contains a minimum of 10% pre-consumer recycled content and a minimum of 12% post-consumer recycled content.

Azrock VCT and TexTile VCT solutions meet CA 01350, are FloorScore for Indoor Air Quality, NSF sustainability Gold certified and are phthalate free, except for recycled materials. Additionally, Azrock and TexTile VCT are under the limit of quantification for TVOCs (Total Volatile Organic Compound), at less than 10 micrograms per cubic meter.
