HomeNewsMohawk arms sales team with iPads

Marietta, Ga.—The Mohawk Group continues to find new, innovative ways to improve the customer experience for architects, designers and end users.

Its latest initiative has each member of its sales team utilizing an iPad in the field to help customers identify and specify flooring solutions more quickly and efficiently. In addition, the company launched a free iPad catalog app which allows designers and architects to interactively search the Mohawk Group’s product catalog on-demand, as well as order samples and email ideas to colleagues and clients.

Merrie Barnett, director of marketing, said the iPad gives “our commercial team the ability to tap into all our internal systems and provide the latest information on-demand. Wait times will be greatly reduced and scheduled visits will be more beneficial to the customer.”

As for the app, she noted, “Architects and designers are driven by deadlines, and the ability to meet them is more important than ever. Our customers need real-time answers to questions during meetings, as well as instant access to specific and detailed product information.
