Bamboo Hardwoods, a fast-growing industry leader of bamboo flooring and panel products and a part of the Aboeda family of companies, announced on May 29 that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Horizon Forest Products as a new bamboo flooring distributor partner.  Since 1993, Horizon has carried one of the most comprehensive inventories in the mid-Atlantic Region of pre-finished and unfinished hardwood flooring, floor equipment, abrasives, finishes, fasteners and accessories.  This agreement further expands Bamboo Hardwoods’ existing distribution network onto the East Coast, and offers a trusted name brand of bamboo flooring and coordinating accessories to Horizon’s respective network of flooring dealers.

“Horizon is renowned throughout the mid-Atlantic United States as an excellent distributor of top-quality flooring products, so we are excited to have them now represent Bamboo Hardwoods as we further expand onto the east coast,” said David Keegan, COO of Bamboo Hardwoods.  “With such a well-known brand like Bamboo Hardwoods, combined with Horizon’s long-standing reputation of excellence throughout the mid-Atlantic United States – especially in bamboo – we feel this partnership will greatly benefit both parties.”

Headquartered in Raleigh, N.C., Horizon Forest Products has been a top wholesale distributor of fine flooring products to both the residential and commercial markets throughout:  Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.  Horizon will exclusively represent the entire Bamboo Hardwoods flooring product line of transitions, engineered and solid bamboo flooring options towards their dealers.  “We’ve successfully carried a full line of bamboo flooring and accessories before, so we’re looking forward to now offering top-quality Bamboo Hardwoods branded products,” said Tim Yarbough, product manager at Horizon Forest Products.  “With an already-established customer base and markets seeking bamboo flooring, teamed with Bamboo Hardwoods’ product consistency, availability and overall support that come highly recommended from some of their existing distributor partners – we look forward to long-term, mutually-beneficial partnership.”
