Chagrin Falls, Ohio—Tarkett has announced that Midwest Floorcoverings will be extending its partnership with Tarkett to include all commercial products currently marketed under the Johnsonite brand. Midwest will represent the expanded Johnsonite portfolio across a region that includes Utah, Colorado, and Idaho.

“The foundation of our business has been a desire for innovation and a belief that we must always provide a broad portfolio of solutions supported by excellent service for our customers,” stated John Parrish, president of Midwest. “In Tarkett, we have a partner that shares these beliefs and can leverage its global presence with local market understanding to meet the intense demands of our commercial channel partners.

“We had already developed a strong and successful partnership with the Tarkett North American Team through our long-term support of Johnsonite,” he added. “We now expect a broader and even more successful future through our full representation of the entire Johnsonite commercial program of Tarkett.”

Midwest’s current representation of the traditional Johnsonite portfolio of accessories and rubber flooring will expand to include the homogeneous, heterogeneous, LVT and linoleum flooring and the VCT, VET, SVT.

“Johnsonite’s integrated and coordinated portfolio of solutions has always strongly supported the needs of the commercial specifying community, and we’re thrilled to now be able to offer the full Johnsonite experience to our clients,” said Eric Parrish, vice president of sales-Midwest.

“We’ve continued to work together in building a strong Johnsonite presence in our territory through a joint focus on service for our customers,” said Nate Noel, sales manager Tarkett Division-Midwest. “With Tarkett’s broad system of solutions and our unmatched local market presence and logistics, we see a positive future in building the Midwest and Tarkett brands.”
