Dallas—Hanley Wood has launched a new mobile app for The International Surface Event 2014. The free app is available now for iPhone, iPad, Android and Blackberry users and is sponsored by FCA Network. The International Surface Event will take place Jan. 27 through Jan. 30 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. It is a combination of three trade shows: Surfaces, StonExpo, and TileExpo. The event mobile app covers all three shows, and can be found by searching International Surface Event in the Apple App Store, Google Play, or Blackberry World.

“The Event mobile app is designed to make attendees’ show experiences even more productive,” said Amie Gilmore, associate show director, Surfaces | StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas | TileExpo. “It’s a very functional tool for accessing records, maximizing the show floor experience, and helping to easily schedule time at The International Surface Event.”

As a new feature this year, users of The Event mobile app can now register for The International Surface Event directly from their device. Users can also search the exhibitor list, access the floor plan and search education sessions and events taking place at the three shows. Other features include a calendar, show alerts during the event and social media integration. Additionally, users can access their hotel reservations and information on local restaurants and attractions in Las Vegas.

The International Surface Event recently announced the launch of the all-new TileExpo, a new tile focused show that will be held in conjunction with Surfaces and StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas in 2014. With the addition of this new event, show management is highly encouraging attendees to take advantage of The Event mobile app in order to make time spent at this dynamic mega-show effective, efficient and enjoyable.
