Kansas City, Mo.—The International Certified Flooring Installers Association (CFI) is working with Goodwill of North Georgia, Spectra (retail commercial sales division of Shaw Industries) and the Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, Ga., to host a three-week intensive carpet installation training program, being held Oct. 5-23 at the college.

To address the shortage of flooring installers, the course will address installation techniques and provide hands-on training. The program will be led by members of the CFI, Shaw technical Services and NWFA. At the completion of the course, installers will receive a CFI Certificate of Training and be eligible to return for certification after having gained two years of active flooring installation experience.
