Miami, Fla.—Indusparquet, a leading manufacturer of Brazilian premium hardwood flooring, has added Jessica Murphy to its U.S. sales and marketing team as the company’s sales and marketing coordinator and director of special projects. Murphy joins Indusparquet from Gilford Johnson Flooring, a Top 20 distributor based in Jeffersonville, Ind.

Murphy most recently served as a category manager at Gilford Johnson for some of the company’s most prominent vendor partners. In addition to her significant product management experience, she also has a relevant background in marketing and coordination of special projects.

“Jessica was a tremendous contributor [at Gilford Johnson], and so we jumped at the opportunity to add her to the IP team when she became available,” said Jodie Doyle, vice president U.S. sales and marketing. “We are experiencing a really nice positive trend towards our products right now. When you couple that with the launch of our IP Home & Outdoor brand, we have a lot of work to do and need high-quality, high-impact people. She will be a fantastic addition to our team.”

Murphy’s appointment comes at a particularly exciting time for Indusparquet, the company said, which recently launched its newest wide plank offering Largo—a 5/8 x 7 3⁄4 textured engineered product line combining traditional Brazilian exotics with more on-trend looks designed to excite the American consumer.

The company is also launching a new corporate sub-brand called IP Home & Outdoor, which will begin selling the company’s decking, wall décor and cutting boards in the U.S. market.
