Marietta, Ga.—Market Maker Events, producers of the Flooring Markets, said the Gulf Coast Flooring Market will now take place May 13-14, 2021, at the MS Coast Convention Center in Biloxi, Miss. It was originally scheduled for Feb. 25-26, 2021.

“We feel the move of the GCFM to May is a great opportunity for our exhibitors to provide additional product rollouts as well as to ensure the comfort of our community,” said Barbara Stroup, managing partner of MME. “Our current exhibitors support the move to May, and we anticipate adding more companies to the lineup as we move forward.”

Kevin Gummow of Brandon Co., said, “Brandon Co. supports the Gulf Coast Flooring Market because of the importance of one-on-one meetings so that management can visit with and get feedback from customers that they’re not able to see during the year. At market, we have the opportunity to interchange ideas and have some fun with our retailers. We also feel that the retailers will be much more comfortable and more confident to attend a market in May.”

Galen Vicknair of Viking Distributors, added, “The Gulf Coast Flooring Market is a great way to get in front of our regional customers, so they can see the latest styles and products. We feel that moving the market to May will alleviate any concerns that our dealers and buyers may have at an earlier date.”

The regional Flooring Markets’ schedule also includes the Southeast Flooring Market on March 11-12, 2021, at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta and the Southwest Flooring Market on April 8-9, 2021, at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
