Healthy Environments collectionDalton—With a new range of styles and an expanded palette, Mohawk Group said its Healthy Environments collection now offers even more heterogeneous resilient sheet options than ever before. According to the company, the collection is designed to help create spaces that comfort patients and their families.

High-performing heterogeneous sheet product styles feature the M-Force combination finish layer, wear layer and design layer, providing the exceptional scratch, stain and wear resistance required by healthcare and senior living interiors. This expanded line of flooring not only coordinates with other Mohawk Group LVT and carpet collections, it also performs at the highest levels, according to the company.

“You need a floor that beautifully supports all the life in your facility,” said Elizabeth Bonner, design director for senior living and healthcare at Mohawk Group. “Life doesn’t stop where the industry testing standards stop. Foot traffic keeps walking, spills keep splashing and heavy loads keep rolling. That’s why we continually test M-Force floors to perform beyond industry standards.”

The company said its Healthy Environments collection is inspired by the alluring, soothing colors and textures of species native to the desert Southwest. Five heterogeneous resilient styles include comforting wood plank visuals, textural designs evoking natural woven fibers and a striated wood grain. Drawing inspiration from biophilic design, the Healthy Environments collection was created to help advance healing and productivity in the health and wellness built environment, according to the company.

Healthy Environments also reflects Mohawk’s commitment to sustainability as this product line is manufactured domestically here. Mohawk said it is taking its commitment to being better for people and the planet by taking its products Beyond Carbon Neutral, meaning it is 100% neutral plus an additional 5% for a net-positive impact on the environment. Additionally, all styles are FloorScore Certified.
