HomeNewsCOREtec introduces Scratchless mineral core line

scratchlessDalton—COREtec, Shaw Industries’ premium luxury vinyl brand, has developed a new-and-improved mineral core platform with a revamped product collection: COREtec Scratchless. The tagline for the new line boasts: “Everlasting scratch protection. Endless design possibilities.”

Consistent with its reputation of continuous innovation, COREtec aims to further cements its leadership position with its new PVC-free products that now offer a 30-year limited residential scratch warranty, improved installation and consumer-tested branding and messaging to ensure success at retail.

The original waterproof brand said it is not afraid of taking a bold approach in the marketplace with a collection named Scratchless, and stands behind the research, technology and testing of its new mineral core products. “COREtec is a brand that makes no apologies for being bold,” said vice president of COREtec Jon England. “We named this product Scratchless because it’s clear, memorable and true. While no floor is scratchproof, this floor won’t scratch under normal conditions and activities* if proper care and maintenance guidelines are followed. And we’re offering a 30-year residential scratch warranty to back up our claims, written in clear, easy-to-understand terms to ensure full transparency on what is covered for the homeowner.”

COREtec reported that extensive product training is currently underway with retail sales associates and enhanced marketing campaign materials are available free of charge to retailers via ShawNow.

*COREtec products will not swell, cup, warp or crack when exposed to water or topical moisture. For full details on scratch coverage, please refer to the product warranty.
