Performance AccessoriesCalhoun, Ga.— Performance Accessories is sponsoring The International Surface Event (TISE) National Installer of the Year Competition. During the program, participating competitors around the country will use Mohawk carpet and LVT flooring along with coordinating Performance Accessories products. Upcoming stops include Fort Wayne, Ind., and Dallas, Texas.

“Installers play a crucial role in the flooring industry, and we want to show them support any way we can,” said Jon Woodbury, senior product director. “By sponsoring this competition, we can learn how to further improve the installation experience of Performance Accessories products.”

The finalists from each of the regional cities will be flown to Las Vegas for the final competition at Surfaces to compete for the 2024 National Installer of the Year title.

“The National Installer of the Year competition is an opportunity for installers to showcase their knowledge, training and expertise while competing for a chance to win the overall title,” explained Dana Hicks, show director for The International Surface Event. “From bringing back the competition in regional form last year to expanding the regional competitions this year, the team never missed a beat. With product donations and in-person support, the team allows us to provide installers a space to further their education and demonstrate their skills.”

The trim and molding brand offers a complete line of innovative and versatile accessories designed to complement all flooring, fit right the first time, eliminate steps and reduce the tools needed to finish the job.
