Cyncly’s HomeBase sets a new standard online

For years, flooring retailers have relied on outside support to manage their websites. However, in a market where speed and responsiveness is key, that model no longer works. HomeBase from Cyncly Websites is here to change that.

Designed for a retailer’s digital storefront, HomeBase is a web administration platform that gives dealers direct control of their websites in real time. Product catalogs, pricing visibility, inventory status, promotions and location details can all be updated instantly. At its core, HomeBase shifts digital ownership back to the dealer.

“Beyond content updates, the platform addresses a growing challenge in retail,” noted Steven McMullen, vice president of product and delivery at Cyncly Websites. “Understanding the consumer before the first conversation. HomeBase provides deeper insight into how shoppers interact with a website, including which products they viewed, favorited or sampled before submitting a lead.”

Website management also becomes simpler. “Dealers can write blog posts, manage SEO, upload images and refresh catalogs from a single interface,” McMullen added. “The process is streamlined and intuitive. Updates that once took days can now be completed in minutes.”

HomeBase and AI

Artificial intelligence plays a supporting role throughout the platform. AI helps automate initial setup and data migration, reducing barriers for retailers getting started. It also assists with blog creation, helping dealers generate content that attracts and engages consumers. When paired with Fibi, the Cyncly website AI agent, HomeBase adds another layer of insight into understanding the customer.

“Lead management is where the platform shows its depth,” McMullen said. “Dealers gain access to full lead histories, including product activity, chat conversations, AI generated summaries and lead sources. The platform integrates with other Cyncly tools such as Retail Lead Management, RFMS and Design Flex. It also supports Zapier and custom webhooks, allowing retailers to connect HomeBase with the systems they already use.”

HomeBase is also the next evolution of DealerHQ, building on familiar functionality while expanding its capabilities. For retailers already using Cyncly tools, including 2,500 flooring dealers running on Cyncly Websites, the transition should be seamless.

Reputation management is another key feature. “Retailers can monitor their full review footprint and respond faster, helping protect and strengthen their brand presence,” McMullen noted.

Catalog management has also been rethought. Now dealers can browse thousands of products and add them to their websites with a single click. Plus, dealers can manage unlimited locations while controlling access for staff. Store managers and sales teams only see the leads and information relevant to their location.

“In today’s digital retail environment, HomeBase represents a shift in how dealers engage online,” McMullen said. “It delivers visibility, control and intelligence that were previously unavailable in a single platform. By understanding customers before the first handshake, retailers are better positioned to deliver stronger buying experiences and close deals faster.”

For an industry built on relationships, HomeBase ensures those relationships start with insight rather than assumptions.
