FCNews unveiled the winners of its fifth annual FCNnovation Awards—a program designed to recognize and showcase some of the most innovative new products and technologies launched in 2025. These awards honor groundbreaking ideas and industry-changing concepts that have impacted flooring across categories and verticals.
Each flooring category is represented here—including carpet, resilient, laminate, wood, tile, installation and technology/software. Judges evaluated winners based on innovation, retailer and end-user benefits and product practicality.
The following winners represent the best of the best in innovation among the dozens of nominations.

Stanton
Stanton Studio is an innovative new take on the traditional selling system, designed to help RSAs narrow down the selection process for the consumer. Studio provides an elegant showcase for consumers on any budget who are looking for a wide selection of carpet. From solution-dyed polyesters to fine hand-woven wools, customers can find options that truly suit the needs of their home. Early indicators of success include higher engagement in the showroom, stronger customer satisfaction and increased closing rates.
Retailers who have taken on the selling system have touted its functionality. “In addition to presenting a far superior organizational layout, the images and featured styles pull attention and form inspiration,” said Tara Ecklund, buyer, carpet, area rugs and furniture for Avalon Flooring Cherry Hill, N.J. “Our RSAs really appreciate the ease of navigation with the new organizational system. The more streamlined process allows them to locate the customer’s ideal design and vision more quickly without having to haphazardly flip through the display and search.”
