Cartersville, Ga.—Shaw Contract expanded its tile portfolio with the launch of Tempo + Pulse, a porcelain and ceramic tile collection designed for modern architectural finishes. Designed for wall and floor applications, Tempo + Pulse combines expressive aesthetics with durable performance. The collection supports commercial and residential environments while emphasizing sustainability and long-term use.
“We designed this collection to harmonize the spaces people use every day,” said Reesie Duncan, vice president of global design at Shaw Contract. “Tempo + Pulse brings movement, emotion and material intelligence together while remaining timeless at its core.”
Shaw Contract developed Tempo + Pulse to meet growing demand for surfaces that balance visual impact with real-world functionality. The collection offers a wide range of formats, textures and colorways. Each field tile features colorbody porcelain, rectified edges and matte or polished finishes. Mosaic and wall panel options allow designers to create cohesive spaces across multiple scales and project types.
Tempo + Pulse draws inspiration from rhythm and movement. Tempo uses color and pattern to create a steady visual beat. Pulse reflects the fluid qualities of ancient limestone through geometric form and texture. Together, the two designs create layered surfaces that feel dynamic yet balanced.
The collection reflects Shaw Contract’s focus on sustainability, longevity and emotional connection. Its palette and textures support installations that feel confident and approachable while standing up to long-term use.
The new collection suits hospitality, workplace, retail, multifamily and residential applications.
