Lexington, Ky.— From the name to the look, the latest HDP High Definition Porcelain floor and wall tile line from Florida Tile, Cinema HDP, evokes the All-American golden age of “Old Hollywood.”

Inspired by the marquee names in the Florida Tile’s PeitraArt Travertine stone line, Cinema HDP tile delivers travertine style in porcelain. The look of Cinema HDP delivers a more consistent, refined appearance for this classic material. As with all Florida Tile ceramic, porcelain and HDP High Definition Porcelain tile, Cinema HDP is made in the USA.

According to Sean Cilona, Marketing Director for Florida Tile, “The Cinema HDP surface is created with minimal pitting to retain slight imperfections and fill marks. Edges are ever so slightly irregular to keep the authentic hand-cut look and feel of travertine, then complemented by a soft and luxurious top glaze application. This toppa, as it is called, gives Cinema a smooth, almost waxy feel that is comforting to the bare skin and adds an atypical warmth to this hard surface.”

“The result is a classic line with a more consistent and refined travertine look and all the benefits of high definition porcelain,” Cilona says. “From the beginning, our intention was a rustic, upscale theme with a harmonious blend of graphic and texture. The natural brushed feel combined with the variation of the digital print makes this a great substitute for a natural stone.”

“What gives Cinema HDP its old Hollywood travertine style is actually the decoration, up to 90 different graphics per color in the 12×12 alone,” Cilona says. “The classic cross cut Travertine is available in three contemporary colors which can easily be matched or coordinated with Cinema decoratives and mosaics. In nature, travertine appears in variations of white, tan and cream colors. Cinema HDP re-scripts things with the looks of Ivory Lace, Burbank Beige and Silverscreen.”

Cinema HDP is available in the following sizes: 12×12, 18×18, and 12×24 as well as an extensive supporting cast of bullnose, chair rails, listellos and mosaics and a 1×2 multicolored, mixed media natural stone and glass mosaic.

Cinema HDP is certified by third party testing for Porcelain Tile Certification, Greenguard and for 40% recycled content.
