Armstrong expands LVT line

HomeNewsArmstrong expands LVT line

Lancaster, Pa.—Armstrong is introducing 115 new designs in its Natural Creations commercial LVT collections, ArborArt, EarthCuts and Mystix, that incorporate designer preferred features and customer feedback.

“Designers and customers will love how easy our new Natural Creations designs and colors coordinate with interior finishes,” said Laura Gemperline, commercial flooring design. “Larger sizes, lower gloss, unique patterns and textures. With such a large collection of design and visual options, Armstrong can provide a flooring solution to fit the design and performance needs of any space. Designers are only limited by their imaginations.”

ArborArt and EarthCuts emulate natural materials. Driven by customer feedback, most of the designs in these collections now feature a low gloss or matte finish. ArborArt features expanded stone and rustic wood visuals including one with a special hand-scraped visual embossing texture. In addition, several products are offered in new longer and wider planks. EarthCuts features two new concrete visuals—a burnished concrete and a metal concrete companion.

Mystix has been updated with bold graphics, metal and textile patterns taken from current trends. Innovative embossing adds texture to new leather and linen visuals all in easy to maintain LVT flooring. Mystix also incorporates wood-like looks like bamboo, grasses and reeds which continue to draw interest and provide alternatives to traditional wood.

Popular textile looks in the Mystix collection have been expanded. Inspired by carpet tile, these visuals can be mixed and matched to create one-of-kind flooring designs. A new addition to the Mystix Aria Series is Flight Path, inspired by nesting and a-linear woven visuals, reminiscent of Beijing’s Olympics Bird Nest.

Armstrong also added a new series to the Mystix collection called Spice City which introduces Morocco, Casablanca and Marrakech—three coordinating patterns in five colors that offer a wide range of design possibilities from bordering treatments to inset rug looks. Morocco is a linen inspired visual offered in a range of neutral colors. Casablanca and Marrakesh are coordinating overlays to Morocco, Casablanca with a damask-like visual and Marrakech with an offset border stripe in a graphic pattern.

“Our goal is to help designers by making it effortless to link interior spaces,” said Julia Pierce, director of commercial flooring design and marketing. “Our updated designs, and multiple tile and plank sizes, provide another creative tool for designers making it easier than ever for them to mix and match colors and collections. Plus, our LVT gauge is equal to our VCT products for easy transitioning from area to area giving designers and customers more flooring options and choices.”
