HomeNewsShaw announces winter market schedule

Dalton—Shaw Industries has released dates for its 2012 winter markets. During these events, the mill will unveil a variety of introductions within the Anso nylon and ClearTouch brands along within the new HGTV Home Flooring by Shaw program. Tuftex will also display a variety of new carpets. And in the hard surfaces arena, new floors will be introduced in the Epic hardwood collection, as well as visuals in the solid hardwood, laminate, resilient, and tile and stone categories.

Shaw-owned hardwood brands Anderson and Zickgraf will also introduce several styles. Additionally, Anderson will be unveiling refreshed displays that reflect the company’s flagship Anderson and Virginia Vintage brands, the result of revitalized branding changes to be unveiled in 2012.

“These new displays and updated programs are inspired by Anderson’s history and commitment to American-made products and sustainability,” said Jeff Sills, executive vice president of sales.

The company said during the annual winter market tour, Shaw retailers will experience new Shaw floors and displays, and have the opportunity to meet individually with Shaw associates. The one-on-one meetings provide time for marketing strategy, sales technique discussions and new program consideration.

“While the economic downturn has been at the forefront of public attention for quite some time now, we know our retailers are ready to roll up their sleeves and welcome in consumers,” said Steve Sieracki, vice president of marketing. “At this year’s markets, we’ll be unveiling products that meet needs in the marketplace at competitive price points. This is our time to network with our retailers, hear their stories of successes and challenges and discuss new Shaw marketing initiatives and program options.”
