Laticrete, a manufacturer of globally proven construction solutions for the building industry, participated in the David Allen Company’s (DAC) annual golf tournament for Multiple Sclerosis as a platinum sponsor on October 5, 2012.

Phil Halcomb, senior vice president of DAC, presented The National Multiple Sclerosis Society National Capital Chapter with a donation of $56,405 – the proceeds from the firm’s golf tournament. They funds will be directly invested to support families affected by MS by helping pay for taxi rides to doctor appointments, utility bills, rent, groceries, medication and numerous other items, as well.

Ed Metcalf,  Laticrete president, North American division, stated,  “Laticrete is proud to support the good work the David Allen Company does to support the community – and in particular its work with MS. [The company] put on a first rate event that many in the industry look forward to attending each year.”

“It is so gratifying to be able to contribute to a cause such as MS,” Halcomb said.  “Without the continued generosity of our supporters, we would not be able to accomplish this.  We look forward to our next tournament.”

The next DAC golf tournament will take place on October 4, 2013 at Heritage Hunt Country Club, located in Gainesville, Va.  Those wishing to participate or donate should contact Phil Halcomb or Susan Allen at 703-690-4422.
