Tarkett reintroduces the Luxury Floor collection

HomeNewsTarkett reintroduces the Luxury Floor collection

Tarkett-logoChagrin Falls, Ohio—Tarkett has announced it has expanded its iSelect program to include its Luxury Floors collection. This update brings all Tarkett luxury floor tiles and planks together into one impressive collection. The Luxury Floors lineup is structured in four distinct construction levels based on overall thickness and warranty. Designed to resist stains, scratches and scuffs, Tarkett Luxury Floors include tiles and planks in a multitude of designs and colors.

The iSelect program is a multi-faceted shopping experience that puts the consumer in control by enabling homeowners to help them find the perfect floor for their needs.

Most homeowners have a vision for their room décor or color scheme—but aren’t sure of how that translates to flooring. iSelect helps consumers choose the perfect color and design using the iSelect Coordination System. Simply choose from one of the six color families and then pick from pre-coordinated palettes for your entire home, resulting in a home that flows from room to room. All Tarkett Luxury Floors are now assigned to one of the six iSelect color palettes, including the 12 new designs and 38 new colors developed for this reintroduction.

The Luxury Floors collection provides a wide range of choices with a variety of sizes, colors, designs, thicknesses, edge treatments and installation options. The new collection has four distinct construction levels based on overall thickness and warranty, which include Transcend, Premiere, PermaStone and Origins.

Transcend is a floating plank collection, which is the perfect combination of easy installation with FreeSpan Locking technology, a durable 20 mil wear layer, Tritonite surface protection and a lifetime limited residential warranty and 10-year limited commercial warranty. Available in 16 authentic wood visuals with a variety of embossing styles, Transcend accents any décor. Plus, its soft sound quality provides quiet comfort.

The Specifi collection is a subset of the Luxury Floors offering. It consists of a selection of the most popular designs, each offered in multiple quality/construction levels. Specifi allows consumers to choose the color and design they love in the construction level they need for their space. There are eight tile colors and eight plank colors in the Luxury Floors Specifi collection, and each of the 16 colors are now available in Premiere, PermaStone and Origins construction levels through the Tarkett Specifi collection.

Premiere is a new collection. It offers 14 tiles and 13 planks. Premiere, with a 12 mil wear layer and Tritonite surface protection, has a lifetime limited residential warranty and 10-year limited light commercial warranty.

Formerly just a tile assortment, the PermaStone collection has expanded to include planks. The PermaStone collection has the largest assortment of designs, colors, tiles and planks within Tarkett’s Luxury Floors offering. From traditional to contemporary, PermaStone has a full 8 mil wear layer thickness and Tritonite surface protection. It offers a lifetime limited residential warranty and five-year limited light commercial warranty.

The Origins tile and plank collection features a 5 mil wear layer with Tritonite surface protection, 15-year limited residential warranty and five-year limited light commercial warranty.

To pull it all together, Tarkett created a line of matching transitions for the Luxury Floors collection. In 2012, Tarkett introduced matching transitions for Transcend with a “t” molding and reducer profile. Based on the positive response from this program, Tarkett developed matching stair nosing for Premiere and Transcend as well as transitions that can be used as a reducer or as  “t” molding for Premiere.

In addition, Tarkett offers its Finishing Accents collection, which consists of baseboards, quarter round and transitions in colors that compliment all Tarkett residential products.
