Washington, D.C.—In addition to Greenbuild’s LivingHome being featured on the floor of the 2014 Greenbuild International Conference & Expo, held in New Orleans Oct. 22-23, Hanley Wood recently announced the launch of the LivingHome website and virtual tour, available at livinghome.greenbuildexpo.com. The home was created in partnership with LivingHomes, Make It Right and the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, and will be permanently placed in the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans.

The Greenbuild LivingHome virtual tour showcases the LivingHome’s design, which integrates features that contribute to the home’s energy performance, health and sustainability, and provides safe and resilient shelter for its occupants.

The LivingHome is a demonstration home, designed to meet requirements for LEED v4 Platinum and Energy Star v3, to showcase a wide range of C2C products, and to incorporate criteria from the new International WELL Building Institute’s certification program.

For those unable to see the show home in person, an online virtual tour has been developed. By incorporating stringent standards for sustainability and performance, this unique concept home offers a full range of takeaway ideas.
