Baltimore—Fishman Flooring Solutions of Baltimore has agreed to purchase Tri-State Floor Covering Supplies, a Cincinnati-based distributor of products and supplies to the installation trade. Tri-State operates two branches in Columbus, Ohio, and single locations in Dayton, Ohio, and Crescent Springs, Ky.

Bob Wagner, president and CEO of Fishman Flooring Solutions, said the acquisition of Tri-State,combined with Fishman’s established presence in Akron, Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo, Ohio, “gives our firm a solid base across the entire Ohio market and creates a platform for expanding our business in Kentucky and other nearby states. Strategic acquisitions like this are part of our plan for growth as we are building our business organically and expanding our product portfolio.”
