NWFA LogoSt. Louis, Mo.—The National Wood Flooring Association’s (NWFA) Virtual Wood Flooring Expo launches on Wednesday, April 29. More than 200 exhibitors will participate in the event, with nearly 1,500 people registered to attend.

“We’re very encouraged to see our industry respond so positively to our first-ever virtual event,” said NWFA president & CEO, Michael Martin. “We definitely will miss seeing everyone face-to-face as we had planned to in Milwaukee, but we’re looking forward to seeing everyone virtually during the same dates. And we’re especially thankful for our event sponsors, including our Tri-Glide Sponsor, 3M, for continuing to support our annual event in this new format.”

The three-day event will feature more than 30 speakers, live and recorded education sessions, product demonstrations, technical skills demonstrations and networking. All education sessions will be followed with live Q&A sessions to enhance learning. In addition, virtual meeting/discussion rooms will be available to extend learning and networking opportunities. Rooms will be available for new members/non-members, emerging leaders, manufacturers, technical questions and COVID-19. The event also will kick-off with a Coronavirus (COVID-19) Economic Impact Panel to provide attendees with updates from an economic, legislative and industry perspective.

In addition to education sessions, attendees can also set up virtual appointments with exhibitors. Time slots available will be from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29 and Thursday, April 30, and from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

Then event will conclude with the presentation of the NWFA’s annual Wood Floor of the Year Awards, which recognize innovative craftsmanship and design in wood flooring installations.
