ArkansasCalhoun, Ga.—Mohawk Group, in collaboration with Equalis Group, a national public sector purchasing cooperative, has secured another powerful partnership with the adoption of the contract for Commercial Flooring Materials with Installation and Related Services by the state of Arkansas. According to Mohawk, this publicly procured contract award from the Cooperative Council of Governments (CCOG), an Equalis Group lead agency, demonstrates Mohawk’s commitment to delivering high-quality flooring solutions to public agencies across the country.

“Mohawk Group looks forward to expanding our relations with government and education agencies by utilizing the state’s participating addendum,” said AnnaLeigh Warmack, business development ,anager, Mohawk Group. “We are confident that our breadth of product and unwavering commitment to relentless customer focus will create success for all parties, Mohawk Group, State of Arkansas and Equalis Group.”

Josh Harrelson, Equalis Group’s southeast regional director, added: “We are thrilled that our cooperative contract with Mohawk Group has been adopted by the Office of State Procurement after a rigorous vetting process. This partnership will enable public agencies in Arkansas to access a comprehensive and hassle-free flooring solution. With our fully compliant procurement process and Mohawk’s extensive range of products and services, public agencies in Arkansas now have an unparalleled resource for their flooring needs.”

Equalis Group delivers compliant, publicly procured cooperative agreements that public sector entities, including federal and state agencies, local governments and educational institutions across the country can utilize to: a) quickly acquire the products and services they need; b) receive better pricing through the collective buying power of Equalis Group Members; and, c) save time through Equalis Group’s legal and compliant alternative to conducting their own resource-consuming solicitation process.

This contract was procured and awarded in accordance with the requirements of 2-C.F.R. Part 200, commonly referred to as “Uniform Guidance”. Why is that important? Because public sector entities receiving federal grant and award dollars can typically spend those dollars through Equalis Group’s already-procured contracts without having to conduct their own bid or request for proposals (RFP).
