Before the advent of floating floors, installation was done one of two ways: nailing/stapling the flooring to the sub- floor or gluing it down. Given the fact that those methods
are time consuming and costly, it’s no wonder floating floors have soared in popularity. What’s more, as the use of floating floors has surged, advances in manufacturing and design have made it possible to get a floating floor in many styles—including SPC/rigid core, water-resistant laminate and WPC.
