Shorewood, Ill.—SelectFit360, FCA Network’s carpet merchandising system, has drawn rave reviews from dealers after being out in the market for just over six weeks. Both FCA Network members and all five FCA corporate stores have taken on SelectFit360 and reported strong results.

“The system has been working exactly as we envisioned,” said Liz Rivera, buyer/brand manager for FCA Network. “It serves as the ‘meat and potatoes’ in the center of the showroom with niche mills surrounding it, while each display is merchandised by construction and is color coded by category (Bay Port/Commodity, Essentials, PetSAFE and Purely Perfect).”

Rivera said about 60% of FCA Network members, including FCA Corporate, have installed the new SelectFit360 in their showrooms, whether that’s a complete setup or a partial one. “We’re really pleased with that number, especially considering we have a handful of Shop-at-Home members who don’t utilize in-store merchandising in the same way.”

SelectFit360’s three phases

SelectFit360 is broken into three phases—two for carpet and the third for hard surface, making it much more palatable for dealers. The displays were designed to work seamlessly with what’s already in the showroom, which avoids that “hodgepodge” look, Rivera said. “The changes were all based on dealer feedback: more uniformity, organizing cards by numbered collections and an easy but meaningful selling story. In other words, it was everything they were asking for.”

The display numbers the cards and arranges them by retail price point, making the shopping experience intuitive and easy to navigate. “We also partnered with Roomvo to add a QR code to every card, allowing customers to instantly upload a photo of their own room and see the carpet in their space in real time,” Rivera explained.

Beyond the functionality, the vision behind SelectFit360 was to create a program that fit seamlessly into the vibe of both FCA Network member stores and FCA corporate stores. The clean, simple design complements existing showroom layouts while elevating the overall experience. It delivers a streamlined and affordable program featuring the best styles from all the major mills. The approach also simplifies the selling process for both sales teams and customers.

“To say we’re excited is an understatement,” Rivera said. “The feedback so far has been fantastic.”

Here’s what FCA dealers had to say:

I was skeptical about buying the new racks, but after setting them up I like the ease of selling off them. Customers seem to gravitate to them. After being set up for only a few weeks we have just ordered our 10th job. I know that is not a lot for everyone, but keep in mind we are a pretty healthy stocking dealer.”

Bill Ellis, United Carpet Outlet, Amelia, Ohio

SelectFit360 has been a game changer. We have managed to streamline carpet selection to ease the minds of our clients. With thousands of carpet options, customers can feel overwhelmed, frustrated and often can’t decide. With SelectFit360 our clients have been easier to manage, quicker to close the sale and have commented on the ease of the selection process. If you don’t have these displays in your showroom, you are doing yourself a disservice.”

Jerry Wilson, Walker’s Flooring, Twin Falls, Idaho

We couldn’t be more impressed with the SelectFit360 merchandising program. From the very beginning, it was clear how much thought and effort went into the design of these displays. The carpet sample cards, in particular, are extremely well executed; they’re easy for customers to handle, clearly organized and present the information in a way that makes choosing the right flooring simple and stress free. Our clients immediately notice the professional, modern look, and it has elevated the entire shopping experience in our store. SelectFit360 is more than just a merchandising tool; it’s a powerful way to showcase product options with clarity and confidence.”

Mike Anderson, Raider Flooring Kitchen & Bath, Lubbock, Texas

The new SelectFit360 Display has been a great update to our floor. The sales team has found it a breeze to guide their clients through the different options available. I have even found clients reading through the verbiage on the displays with interest while their spouses are talking to their sales associate. The ease of the labeled boards helps our team stay organized.”
