Export, Pa. — Karndean Designflooring is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of Pittsburgh’s top workplaces by the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette. Karndean’s U.S. headquarters in Export employs approximately 75 people in the Pittsburgh region.

The top workplaces are determined solely by employee feedback. The winners were chosen following an online survey which asked employees from 142 nominated companies to rate their employers on general job satisfaction, flexibility, perks and benefits such as healthcare, insurance and paid holidays, as well as rating aspects of leadership, career development, communication and engagement. The top companies were then listed in a special supplement to the October 25 issue of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

“We are honored and privileged to accept this award,” said Ed Perrin, CEO of Karndean Designflooring. “We have literally grown from a company of five people when we came to Pittsburgh to the large company we are today. I have our employees to thank and recognize for making this a great place to work.”

Karndean Designflooring is listed 17th out of 50 in the small company category, which consists of businesses with up to 149 employees in the region.
