Bethany, Conn. — Laticrete, a manufacturer of globally proven construction solutions for the building industry, has announced the launch of a new line of underlayment and patching materials, Laticrete NXT, formulated not only for the tile channel, but to address and solve floor preparation issues relative to the installation of other categories of flooring.

“We’ve always offered high-quality substrate materials which are problem solving and cost efficient,” said Ken Barnum, product manager. “We wanted to bring to market a range of materials which were even better and more robust. So, we worked closely with our European partners to develop Laticrete NXT. These products have been crafted using state-of-the-art technology new to the U.S. marketplace which allows for competitive pricing, world class performance and the ability to be manufactured in all Laticrete plants.”

Ryan Blair, channel manager, added, “With Laticrete NXT, we have created a new, self-leveling material that performs at optimal levels. The viscosity is fluid and can be pumped or poured easily. After curing, it offers an extremely strong substrate that is ready to be covered with flooring surface finishes.”

Resellers, specifiers, installers and end users who make the decision to work with Laticrete NXT will enjoy peace of mind because this new product line is offered with the Laticrete lifetime warranty. By March, Laticrete NXT will be manufactured in nearly all Laticrete’s United States’ manufacturing facilities.
