FCNews.net now offers a streamlined experience for readers and a robust marketing portfolio for advertisers.

To kick off the new year,Floor Covering News is proud to announce the redesign and official relaunch of FCNews.net. The new website was created as part of our larger mission to continually advance our product offering in support of the evolving needs of our readers and advertising partners. The redesign will support both as we navigate a new decade that will no doubt bring digital media and marketing to the forefront.

“As the popularity of digital media continues to grow, it was crucial for us to make a bigger statement on the web,” said Lindsay Gonzalez, FCNews associate editor and digital media coordinator. “We believe this redesign positions Floor Covering News as the No. 1 source for digital news and advertising.”

To better serve the needs of our industry, the new website is equipped with a fresh look and updated functionality, including sleek navigation and a robust marketing portfolio. “Our partnership with FloorForce allows us to have a state-of-the-art, user-friendly website that will better serve both our readers and advertisers,” explained Steven Feldman, FCNews publisher. “The user will have a more streamlined experience while the advertiser will have many digital opportunities to reach target customers.”

To give our readers a better user experience, the website offers easier navigation, interactive content, effortless access to industry news, country-wide trends, new products and more. “The redesign of our website was made with our readers in mind,” Gonzalez stated. “The new homepage is more interactive with a live video player as well as polls our readers can take part in. The new site is overall more organized, allowing visitors to have vital information at their fingertips.”

The new website also allows FCNews to offer the most comprehensive digital marketing portfolio in the industry. These advertising opportunities include homepage takeovers, category takeovers, sponsored content, videos, native advertising and more—in addition to the digital opportunities we have offered in the past. There will also be retargeting/remarketing opportunities via our robust social network.

Each of these digital marketing products offer a streamlined approach for flooring manufacturers to reach, educate and engage their customer. For example, homepage takeovers are a great way to get the word out about a new launch, special offer or simply build brand awareness, while category takeovers target content more specifically and allow advertisers to deliver their message exclusively and unimpeded. Consumer demand for video content, often considered the future of marketing, is growing. FCNews is now able to tap that potential. Our website will serve as the platform for advertisers to generate up to 10 times more engagement among their target audience with specialized video content packages.

FCNews will continue to provide unparalleled value by adding cutting-edge content and features throughout 2020 that will serve both the independent flooring retailer and flooring supplier.
